Important…

As I get older I appreciate more and more the relationship I had with my grandpa Henry. As a kid he was always puttering in the background as I was growing up. No project was finished until it was painted. Most important he always had time, time to explain, time to find the perfect board for our fort. Grandpa is not a talkative man, yet when family photos come out he told the most amazing stories and made me so proud to be a part of the strong and creative family he talked about. He curates our family history with an intensity that relates its importance. No family item is to unimportant to be noticed, from the potato planter my great grandpa used to the toy car my dad played with. These items were all used in my daily life as a kid, well mainted by my grandpa, than stored in the city museum to be looked at by strangers who admire them as relics of a strong people. Grandpa Henry made a strong family and living history for all of his kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids to be proud of. Grandpa Henry is still puttering make everyones life better and stronger. You are so important to your family…

Matching…

Dont worry his older brother has a matching pair of pants all cut out and ready to be sewed up. Because what boy does not need a pair of reversible plaid/denim pants!

As a side note, I did, use just one of those flannel shirts I got in my ginormous ebay box  as lining for BOTH of the boys pants… I wish there would have been more XXL shirts in there.

Beautiful Messes…

My kids leave me little living reminders of beautiful everywhere. Messes blur with art.
